A small boat caught fire near a landing in Homosassa this weekend.
The vessel was docked near MacRae’s riverfront tiki bar when the fire broke out on Saturday night.
“The Engine 3 crew was able to extinguish the fire on the MacRae’s side of the river without incident,” Citrus County firefighters said on Facebook.
Investigators suspect the fire was caused by a faulty inverter that was being used to power Christmas lights on the boat.
There were no reported injuries.
Further information was not immediately available.
