5. Sarasota Celtic Music Festival (Friday, Saturday) 
In times of old the Celts believed on that night between the passing of the old year, and the arrival of the new, you could pass through worlds and contact your passed ancestors. That belief has continued with today’s Halloween traditions of witches and ghosts, etc. Dance in the new season as we eat, drink and be merry, remembering those who have gone before us. Tickets are $20. Get the details

6. The Sarasota Ballet: Iconographic (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Experience the perfect example of the repertoire and values of The Sarasota Ballet, featuring classical ballets alongside modern and contemporary works, as well as choreographers of the past, present and future. Tickets start at $35. Get the details

4. Fantasma Fest (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Join Tampa’s Halloween Revolution and the Pumpkin King in his inaugural march down historic 7th Avenue in Ybor City where you and thousands of supporters dressed in full costume will participate in the first ever people’s parade. Ticket prices range. Get the details

2. Riverwalk Trick or Treat (Saturday)  
Kids in costume along with their families are invited to Trick or Treat along the Riverwalk as part of this FREE community event. Last year over 7,000 people enjoy this family-friendly event. Get the details

3. Puppy Paddle (Saturday) 
The City of New Port Richey and the Parks and Recreation Department are hosting a costume contest for dogs of all sizes, a photo zone, agility course and a number of fun activities for your four-legged family members. Entry is free for humans and $5 per dog. Get the details

8. Tampa’s Halloween Bar Crawl (Sunday)
Dig deep into your suitcase of fear and pull out the scariest costume you can find. This is no laughing matter. Go paranormal or stay home! Prizes will be awarded for the scariest costumes, so get tricked out to the max! Tickets are $30. Get the details
