Monday night is a must-win for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Chicago Blackhawks are one win away from their third Stanley Cup title in six seasons, and their depth has played a key role against the Lightning.
Kris Versteeg and Antoine Vermette combined for the winning goal in Chicago’s 2-1 victory in Game 5 on Saturday night. Vermette was a healthy scratch for Game 3 of the Western Conference finals against Anaheim, and Versteeg has played in 11 of the Blackhawks’ 22 playoff games.
Next up is Game 6 on Monday night in Chicago, when the Blackhawks will have the opportunity to clinch the title at home for the first time since 1938.
Cheer on the Bolts with a free watch party hosted by WFLA News Channel 8 and Bud Light at the Amalie Arena Monday night. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The puck drops at 8 p.m. There will be a DJ, and ThunderBug and the Lightning Girls will be there. Fans will receive a 40 percent discount on food.
If the Lightning win Monday night, forcing a game 7, the game will be in Tampa on Wednesday.
