Flooding at Mariner’s Cove mobile home park in Largo.

LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) – When rain bands from Hurricane Hermine moved through on Thursday night, residents of a Largo mobile home park found themselves in high water again.

Less than three months ago, they were in the same predicament when Tropical Storm Colin moved through on June 6. Back then,  the water was waist deep and Duke Power shut off electricity to the community.

This time, the water wasn’t as high, but the park was still flooded and power was once again shut off. About 15 to 20 mobile homes were surrounded by water .

Some homes have minor flooding, others are inaccessible by car.

Business owners at a neighboring industrial park are made because Duke Power has also shut off their electricity, even though they are high and dry.
