COLUMBUS (WCMH) – It was an epic night for young Isaac, a pediatric cancer survivor, when wrestler John Cena brought him to the ring in Columbus, Ohio Monday night.
During Monday Night Raw’s stop in Columbus, Cena spotted Isaac sitting ringside wearing his “Make A Wish” shirt and a “Never Give Up” headband and decided to bring him to center ring.
“I always preach the motto ‘Never Give Up’, it’s one thing to talk about it, but it’s another thing to do it,”Cena said with Isaac by his side.
With the crowd cheering Cena announced that after two years of battling cancer, Isaac had beaten the disease.
“And ladies and gentlemen, you have been a wonderful crowd tonight, but I wanted to make Isaac’s Independence Day by giving him a moment of what it’s like to be a WWE superstar,” Cena said to cheers.
