A new vintage store is not only uniting folks with rare finds, but it is also helping those in need.
South Tampa’s Vintage Etc. on Gandy Blvd. was built from the time-told idea that there is a treasure in everything.
Vintage Ect. focuses on luxury clothing, antique furniture and rare figurines.
“This is not your mom and pop thrift store, that’s why we don’t call it a thrift store. A lot of high end really nice items, it’s nice and spacey and it’s just a really cool place to come and enjoy it with your friends and get some good deals,” Senior Pastor Craig Altman said.
The store inspired by the thrill of a good deal makes a difference in our community through two different avenues.
If you’re looking to clear out some of your previously loved items you can donate them to Vintage Etc. for a tax write off.
The pieces are then appraised, cleaned and displayed on the sales floor for a shopper to snag.
You can also spruce up your own wardrobe and shop from the high-end collection, scoring some incredible discounts.
Most dresses will cost you just $4-8.
Talk about a bargain on designer items like Lilly Pulitzer, Michael Kors and Louis Vuitton – and it’s all for a good cause.
The proceeds from Vintage Etc. benefit afterschool programs for kids in Ybor.
