CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) – A Dunedin man was arrested for DUI after police say he drove the wrong way on US 19.
A Clearwater police officer noticed 60-year-old Anthony Tucker, after turning off Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, driving north in the southbound lanes south of US 19. Officers said Tucker refused to pull over and continued driving north.
Tucker finally stopped near Countryside Boulevard after stop sticks were used, according to officers.
When he finally got out of the car, officers said they noticed he smelled like alcohol, was stumbling and performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
Tucker is currently facing a DUI charge.
