MacDill Airforce Base will present Airfest 2018, a showcase of extreme aviation capabilities.
Airfest will be headline by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, who will be joined by the F-22 and the A-10 demo team.
The event will be held May 12-13 at the base.
Admission and parking are free.
MacDill AFB recommends airshow goers bring sunscreen, empty reusable water bottles (free water stations are available after guests get through security), hearing protection (especially for children) and collapsible camping chairs.
Pets, umbrellas, drones and excessively large bags are not permitted at the event, among other things.
Food, beverages and souvenirs will be available for purchase inside the event.
You can find out more information and the event’s full schedule by visiting the Airfest’s page on the MacDill AFB website.
Airfest now has an app with schedules, performers, static aircraft displays and more.
