TAMPA (WFLA) – Tampa police announced Monday a loss of one of their own.
The department announced on Facebook the passing of Officer Travis Comrey. Comrey joined The Tampa Police Department in 2015 and supervised the police explorer program.
Prior to joining the Tampa Police Department, Officer Comrey was in the explorer program for eight years.
Tampa police tell News Channel 8 they are awaiting the medical examiner’s office report.
