HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies were on scene of a SWAT situation in Riverview Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies were called to 12839 Kings Crossings Drive at 10 a.m.
A neighbor called authorities stating that the man who lives at the townhouse was walking around with a gun.
The man is known to have a BB gun.
A man was inside a townhouse by himself as officials attempted to make contact with him. It is unknown if the gun was a BB gun.
HSCO deputies took the man into custody and said the incident ended uneventfully.
The man was carried out of the home on a stretcher, but was sitting up and talking to authorities.
