HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue is on scene of a water main break Monday evening.
According to HCFR on Twitter, the break occurred on Memorial Highway at Sweetwater Creek.
Beginning at 9 p.m. today, all eastbound lanes on Memorial Highway will be closed between Kelly Road and Dana Shores Drive while the Tampa Water Department repairs the water main break.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is expected by 5 p.m., on Dec. 23.
A precautionary boil water notice is now in effect for 200 homes in the Sweetwater neighborhood located near Memorial Highway and Saltwater Boulevard.
