TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Police say a 23-year-old driver was speeding before a crash in Davis Islands this morning. He died at the scene, according to a report on the incident.
Police said Bryant Pennington was heading southbound in a 2011 Chevy SUV when he hit a concrete barrier in the 400 block of Davis Boulevard.
Police said Pennington was traveling at a high rate of speed, but did not mention how fast he was going or whether he was under the influence of alcohol.
Further information regarding the crash was not immediately available.
