TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A shooting investigation is underway in east Tampa.
Officers were called to 39th Street near 38th Avenue just before 11 p.m. Monday. Evidence markers were placed near multiple bullet casings on the road.
The large law enforcement presence included the forensics unit and blocked a portion of the street for hours.
At the same time, detectives with the Tampa Police Department were also investigating at a scene on 40th Street.
