New Seminole Heights mural becomes hot spot decked out with love

In the spirit of community and unity, a Tampa Bay businessman launched an interactive mural in Seminole Heights.

At 5103 North Florida Ave. stands a big black billboard covered in ever-changing phrases, all answering what love is.

It is made of metal, therefore magnetic, and is meant to be interactive.

Users can select magnetic painted letters of choice and post these letters on the billboard to express what “love” is to them.

Photos are taking over social media of the #lovewalltampa.

The mural was created by regarded local artist Bianca Burrows, also known as BBArt.

Dan Bavaro, Bavaro’s Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria founder, originally purchased the space for a future Bavaro’s restaurant concept. But for now, it will be dedicated to the community with this mural.

“We want to help unite the community with this interactive mural to support bringing this community back together, which has suffered much tragedy in recent months,” says Bavaro. “Our goal is to participate in uniting this great neighborhood.”
