HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — More than $110,000 worth of cocaine was seized in Hillsborough County in a drug bust last week.

Tishunz Logan, 32, and Dondre Alexander Daley, 30, were arrested after detectives secured the 2.25 pounds of drugs over the past several months.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Logan was a key member who transported large amounts of the substance from Pasco to Hillsborough County.

Deputies arrested Logan on Jan. 25 after he tried running from authorities. Daley, who was with Logan at the time, was also arrested.

Daley is facing charges of conspiracy to traffic cocaine 400 grams to 150 kilograms.

Logan is facing charges of trafficking in cocaine 400 grams to 150 kilograms, trafficking in cocaine 200 grams to 400 grams, trafficking in cocaine 28 to 200 grams, resisting officer with violence, and three counts of unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

After his arrest, detectives discovered Logan instructed a woman to remove hidden items from a New Port Richey home. Pasco deputies obtained a search warrant and found $32,000, bulk ammunition, a firearm magazine, and about an ounce of cocaine inside.

“The collaboration between our detectives and our deputies on the street once again demonstrates the power of teamwork here at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “Together, they successfully caught a known criminal who was swiftly brought to justice despite attempting to continue his life of crime in the new year.”

This remains an ongoing investigation.
