The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death at a Brandon home.
At about 3:50 p.m. on Monday, deputies received a request to perform a welfare check on a man in the 1800 block of Providence Lakes Blvd.
When officers arrived, they found the man’s body inside of the apartment with upper body trauma.
“At this time, no other information is available for release. This is an active investigation,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
