Louis C.K. is bringing his comedy tour to Tampa.

The controversial comedian, who went on hiatus in 2017 following allegations of sexual misconduct, which he confirmed, has been booked for six shows at Side Splitters Comedy Club, according to the venue’s website.

The shows are at 8 p.m. Wednesday, 8:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 and 10:30 p.m. Friday and 7 and 9:30 p.m. Feb. 9. Tickets are $30 and up.

The comic came under fire in 2017 when he admitted to sexual misconduct with women in the comedy world, including masturbating in front of them.

He found himself in hot water again late last year when audio clips surfaced in which he is heard mocking the survivors of the Parkland shooting, Auschwitz and nonbinary people.

In an interview with Vulture.com, Side Splitters owner Brian Thompson said he’s not opposed to booking the comedian because he “is going to sell tickets.”

“Booking somebody doesn’t necessarily mean you’re condoning things they may have done or been accused of,” Thompson told the website. “I believe in second chances and like to be open-minded about things. Certainly, if I was one of the alleged victims I would hate to see his name on things. I’d hate to see him on TV and all. But the reality is he is a business, and if he still sells tickets, people will still book him.”

According to a notice on the website, no phones or smart accessories will be allowed.
