TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Highway Patrol said it is looking for information on a hit-and-run that blocked traffic on the Howard Frankland Bridge Sunday.
A camera from the Florida Department of Transportation showed heavy traffic on the bridge at around 11 a.m.
According to the FHP, it is believed that a red AMG sped at a high rate while weaving through traffic on the bridge before it struck a sedan on the right side.
After the first collision, the second vehicle then spun and crashed into a RAV4, which was knocked into a concrete median.
The AMG fled the scene after the incident, troopers said. The driver of the third vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Troopers said if you have any info, call *FHP or **TIPS.
