Hillsborough County first responders got a little creeped out while helping victims of Hurricane Florence in Goldsboro, North Carolina, this past week.

Hillsborough County Fire and Rescue, along with Temple Terrace Fire Department workers, just returned from there mission.

They were staying at an old mental hospital that was being used as a pop-up emergency center to transport people to during flooding.

The first responders said it was creepy staying there. They would hear noises and see bats in the facility. But the biggest freak out involved an abandoned truck.

They were told the truck had been there for a while and not to worry about it. The vehicle was now sitting in high water. HCFR took a photo of the flooded truck during the daytime.

Later, Temple Terrace fire crews took a nighttime picture and were surprised at what it showed. It appears to be an apparition of a man in the driver’s seat of the truck.

Some believe it was former residents of the hospital. What do you think?
