An Apollo Beach woman has a gift from her late husband back after it was stolen by a handyman in July.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office posted a photo of Detective Brian Craig reuniting the woman with a watch gifted to her by her husbands.
According to the sheriff’s office, the woman hired Michael “Shane” Spry as a handyman.
Shortly after he left her home, the woman noticed her watch was missing.
Through good detective work, Master Detective Phil Raschiatore and Detective Craig got Spry to admit to stealing the watch.
Spry is charged with grand theft from a person over the age of 65.
