TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said it located a man that used “speed and fear” to rob a TD Bank in the Carrollwood area.
The man, who was not identified, was located around 9:45 p.m. Monday.
Deputies said the man, who was possibly armed with a firearm, entered the bank on Monday morning at 10821 North Dale Mabry Highway, jumped the teller window, and demanded money. Minutes later, he fled with an undisclosed amount of money and rode away on a motorized mini-bike.
Authorities said there were no physical injuries during the robbery.
“This was clearly a planned robbery where the criminal used speed and fear to coerce employees at the bank to hand over money, and leave them in a state of shock,” Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said.
