The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Kendrick James, 31, a suspect in a deadly shooting that occurred last Sunday.
Investigators say just after 6:30 p.m. on March 17, deputies responded to a call about shots fired at an apartment complex at 13712 19th Street North.
When they arrived they learned that James had gotten into an argument with his neighbor, who at some point was shot. The man was taken to AdventHealth Hospital and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
A warrant for 2nd Degree Murder with a firearm and Felon in Possession of a Firearm has been obtained for James’ arrest.
Deputies say he may be in a burgundy 2015 Nissan Altima with the FL Tag: JJQ-K38. And say if you see James do not approach him and contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office by calling 813-247-8200.
