RIVERVIEW, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death in Riverview.
Deputies responded to the 9800 block of Riverview Drive at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, where they discovered that someone died.
In a release, HCSO said it was not clear what led to the person’s death. The Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the deceased and determine how they died.
“Our detectives are working to identify this person and determine what could have led to their death,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “We’re asking if anyone has information to contact our detectives. Any information could help our investigation.”

Riverview Drive was closed between 78th and Dean Streets while the sheriff’s office investigated the incident.
