Deputies search for gunman after 2 injured in Tampa shooting

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Hillsborough County sheriff’s detectives are searching for a gunman connected to a shooting in Tampa Monday afternoon.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were called to Armenia Gables Circle around 2:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired.

Deputies found two people who had been shot.

One victim was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital and the second victim was taken to Tampa General Hospital.

Both have serious injuries.

The suspected gunman is a white man in his mid 20s. He has a thin build and is about 5’10”. The man has shoulder-length blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a black and blue plaid jacket with a gray hoodie and black jeans.
