Cute and cuddly, a sweet Boxer-mix named Brady loves a good belly rub and spending sunny days resting on the patio. This poor pup has endured horrible heartache and unimaginable pain.

“She’s missing a part of her jaw. She’s missing 12 teeth. She had a very massive surgery. She will not be able to eat solid food for the rest of her life and has a lot of pain in her mouth,” said family attorney, Victor Berg.

But you’d never know it.

She wags her tail and looks eagerly into the eyes of those she meets. She is continuing her recovery after severe injuries sustained during a trip with Delta last fall.

Brady was bound for Bermuda, en route to join her family as they moved into a home there, starting a new chapter in their lives.

Their four-legged family member would never make it.

Sadly, she’s been without her owners for six months now.

Her story began when she was left, according to Berg, in searing heat for hours, crated with no one checking on her.

Berg went on to say that Brady was so scared, she broke out of her crate and took off, where she would suffer alone for two weeks.

Luckily, she was found, but the attorney for the family claims Delta is denying any responsibility.

Berg says he’s tried to meet with the airline numerous times, hoping they would make things right. He says they’ve told him that Brady is classified as cargo, and that it’s not their fault she got loose.

At the heart of this case, the family attorney tells us Delta refuses to take responsibility and allegedly destroyed evidence.

“Scrubbing the crate clean of blood and hair and other evidence is not a good practice,” he told WFLA.

The attorney is now considering filing a lawsuit and says he’s disgusted with Delta’s treatment of dogs.

He’s even been in contact with legal counsel for another family left devastated after discovering their Pomeranian died in her crate in cargo.

The dog named Alejandro was found deceased upon arrival at the airport in Detroit.

For now, Brady is in Tampa and her family is in Bermuda trying desperately to bring her home.

Berg maintains the airline is also making it incredibly difficult to facilitate the paperwork for Brady’s travel, which he claims is in order and ready to be processed.

But, this little gal is getting a lot of love from her foster family in Tampa, including lots of hugs, kisses and belly rubs.

“I will tell families to read the fine print if they want to ship their animals. Do your research,” said Berg.

We have reached out to Delta Airlines for comment on the case, but have not heard back from them regarding Brady.
