TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Wesley Chapel man died Saturday morning after crashing on I-75 in Hillsborough County.
The Florida Highway Patrol said that at 9 a.m., a 78-year-old motorcyclist was heading south on I-75 when he lost control.
Troopers said the man then crashed into an outside barrier wall north of Fletcher Avenue.
The victim died of his injuries at the scene of the crash. Troopers say it is not known why he lost control of his vehicle.
