TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — If you’re looking for a new date night spot or planning a Valentine’s Day dinner date, you might want to check out one of Yelp’s most romantic restaurants in America.
Yelp compiled the list by sorting through restaurants with reviews mentioning words like romantic, date night and valentine. Then it ranked those restaurants based on reviews and ratings to come up with the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants for Valentine’s Day Dinner in 2024.
Three restaurants in the Tampa Bay area made the list:
Pia’s Trattoria (No. 44)
Pia’s Trattoria, located at 3054 Beach Boulevard in Gulfport, was the highest-rated restaurant in the Tampa Bay area, coming in at No. 44.
The Italian restaurant is known for its Old Italy atmosphere and fresh and original food.
Yelp reviewers said the soup and the bread are “to die for.” They also like the service and location of the restaurant.
Yah Mon (No. 78)
Yah Mon on West Platt Street in Tampa was ranked at No. 78 on Yelp’s list.
The restaurant offers Caribbean-style food, including popular jerk chicken, oxtail and curry chicken dishes.
Reviewers said the restaurant is “perfect for date night” and has the “best Caribbean food in Tampa.”
OLIVIA (No. 87)
Modern Italian restaurant OLVIA also made Yelp’s list, coming in at No. 87.
The restaurant, located at 3601 West Swann Avenue in Tampa, “delivers all the authentic flavors of a traditional trattoria with the creative flair of a chef-inspired menu.”
One reviewer said they had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Another recommend the garlic bread and fritto misso.
