SEBRING, Fla. (WFLA) — One person is hospitalized after a home in Sebring caught on fire just before 5 a.m. Friday morning.
The Highlands County Fire Rescue responded to the fire in the 4000 block of Coco Palm Drive in the Desoto City area.
Officials said one person was transported for smoke inhalation.
Crews were also able to get one dog and three chickens out, but one chicken was lost in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
