An investigation is underway into a Highland’s County woman who was found dead in Indian River County after missing for over a week.
Khadijah Anderson told her mother Monday that she was going to Lakeland to visit family, but she never arrived.
The sheriff’s office says Anderson’s car was found abandoned Wednesday by an outlet mall in Indian River County unlocked with the keys left inside.
This is an ongoing investigation.
