Gator found in TX parking lot after floods

A 6-foot alligator was found at a parking garage in Houston after flooding this week, KTRK reported.

Animal control experts say that the animals that usually occupy the lowlands, have been flooded out and they are showing up in unusual places, like a parking lot in Houston.

A 6-foot alligator was chilling in the corner when the office workers spotted it just before lunch. An alligator trapper Gator Chris came over to capture and relocate the reptile.

He lassoed it and let it roll around to burn off energy and make it tired. After that he taped the gator’s mouth and loaded it into his truck. It will go to a gator farm in Al Campo.

Gator Chris said that the floods destroyed the surrounding habits and the animal services have been really busy in the area.
