GRESHAM, OR (KOIN) – An SUV that crashed outside of Portland this week ended up perched on a guy-wire.

Gresham police told KOIN 6 News a 16-year-old was behind the wheel when he tried to make a turn. But officials said he was driving too fast, which caused him to miss the curve and drive up the wire.

He was cited for careless driving and released to his parents.

A witness tells KOIN 6 News there was another teenager in the SUV.

No one was hurt.
