TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)—The high school football season is winding down and excitement for post-season play is growing.
Tampa’s Jefferson High School Dragons have already clinched a spot in the postseason and will take on the Lennard High School Longhorns on Friday night.
To keep the students excited for a night on the gridiron, News Channel 8 traveled to Jefferson High School to host a Friday morning Blitz pep rally.
The Dragons have 16 senior players on their team. Lennard’s current record is 2-7, while Jefferson stands at 5-3.
Kickoff is in Ruskin at 7:30 p.m. Friday night.
