ORLANDO, Fla. (WESH) – Employees at Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay were hospitalized after ‘technical issues’ at the water park Sunday, a spokesperson said.
A Universal spokesperson said the technical issues led to an early closure of the park.
“Out of an abundance of caution, a small number of our team members have been transported to the hospital,” the statement from Universal said.
Further details about the nature of the injuries or the technical difficulties were not provided.
