A rare sight lit up the night sky in a small Florida town over the weekend.
A Ring surveillance camera recorded a meteor streaking across the sky on Saturday night.
The surveillance video shows a car and a truck in a parking lot in the town of Youngstown. Then, the sky is lit up as the meteor drops from the sky and disappears behind some trees.
Jeffrey Cardona, who lives in Jacksonville, also recorded video of the meteor and shared it with WFLA. The video was recorded at an intersection and shows the meteor dropping from the sky.
The National Weather Service in Tallahassee confirmed the object was a meteor.
Youngstown is northeast of Panama City.
