A Fort Pierce police officer saved a 6-day old baby who stopped breathing a week before Thanksgiving.

Officer Jorge Goz took the child and patted her back to help dislodge whatever had been blocking the infant’s airway.

Captured in body camera video, the officer tells the family he is a CPR instructor and will stop by their house to teach them what to do if the same situation were to arise.
