Waffle House opens food truck in Panama City after Hurricane Michael

Waffle House is taking action and trying to help feed people who were impacted by Hurricane Michael.

The restaurant chain posted on Twitter Monday afternoon saying they had opened up a food truck in Panama City and would be giving out free food.

The food truck is set up at 631 West 15th Street. The tweet says free food will be available curbside until 6 p.m.

The restaurant chain used the hashtag #ScatteredSmotheredandRecover in its tweet. It shows a picture of the food truck set up below a destroyed Waffle House sign.
