TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A tornado that ripped through South Florida Monday night sent one homeowner’s trampoline up to the power lines.

Video captured on home video shows the moment a tornado sent the trampoline flying over his 6-foot fence.

NBC affiliate WPTV said the EF-0 tornado also knocked over the man’s fence and his door as it blew through the Martin County neighborhood.

“Straight over the door, just flew and wrapped itself around the pole there,” Danny Concepcion, the owner of the trampoline told WPTV. “Probably would have gone higher and further if that wasn’t there.”

Concepcion, and his fellow neighbors, are now rebuilding following the aftermath of the tornado. One neighbor told WPTV that he had to put a tarp on his roof after the storm ripped part of his roof off. Another neighbor said the window to his van is gone.

The county’s Public Works Director, Jim Gordon, told WPTV that crews are responding after dozens of trees partially or fully came down throughout the area, along with picking up other debris.
