A pregnant woman in Miami ended up on top of a moving car when she tried to stop robbers from driving off with her purse.
Surveillance video of the dangerous confrontation shows Cassandra Better, who is heavily pregnant, move in front of the car and place her hands on the hood. Unfazed by Better, the robber in the driver’s seat hits the gas, pushing Better onto the hood.
“I was on the car. I was on the car, stopping them. They were, like, taking me,” Cassandra Better said.
According to KTRK, the crooks made off with $3,000 in cash and a diamond ring. No arrests have been made.
“I know a lot of people are like, ‘why would you do that?’ But in a moment like that, you’re not going to just sit there,” Better said.
