WASHINGTON, D.C. (WFLA) — Hundreds of people protested outside the Cuban embassy in Washington D.C. Saturday to show their support for protesters in Cuba.

Many protesters in D.C. are members of the exile community in the U.S. and traveled overnight all the way from Miami. After going to the embassy, protesters shouted for President Joe Biden to help Cubans left on the island.

They want people in Cuba to know they support their demands for freedom and an end to the communist regime.

President Joe Biden has called Cuba a “failed state” that is “repressing their citizens.”
