TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Norwegian Cruise Line announced that one of its ships will be sailing new Caribbean itineraries from Florida in the fall.
The Norwegian Epic will sail from Port Canaveral to the Eastern Caribbean starting on Oct. 30. The new itineraries include stops in NCL’s private islands — Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas and Harvest Caye in Belize.
NCL also announced that the Norwegian Getaway will set sail from New Orleans beginning on Oct. 20. The ship will sail to Western Caribbean destinations.
Travelers can begin booking the new cruises in February.
“The Caribbean continues to be a hotspot for our guests all around the world, especially during the fall and winter seasons,” said David J. Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line. “We are constantly looking to provide our guests with the best vacation possible, especially from accessible homeports, and it was a no-brainer to bring two of our largest ships to sail more picturesque, tropical cruises from New Orleans and Port Canaveral.”
