Neighborhoods leveled, splintered homes and an ocean full of debris—News Channel 8 photographer Paul Lamison had a front row seat to all of that this week when our chopper flew over the Florida Panhandle after Hurricane Michael ravaged the area.
Flying hundreds of feet above the area, Lamison captured dozens of videos of the devastation from News Channel 8’s chopper, Eagle 8 HD.
You can see rows of homes and businesses destroyed by the third most powerful storm to hit the U.S. mainland.
The storm is being blamed for at least 17 deaths and that number is expected to rise.
