TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — According to newly released information, authorities confirmed that parts of scaffolding were taken down, rather than collapsed, in Downtown Orlando.

NBC affiliate WESH reported last week that there were reports of scaffolds being unstable, ultimately closing a few streets.

During the dismantling of the scaffolding, crews expected it to take a week to safely take it down.

It is unknown whether anyone has been injured.
