TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Specialty license plates honoring the late Jimmy Buffett are one step closer to a reality in Florida.
The Senate on Monday passed HB 403, which would introduce a host of plates including the “Margaritaville” specialty plate. Now it heads to the Governor’s desk for his signature.
The plate, which honors the late musician’s life, would also benefit the SFC Charitable Foundation, Inc.
In addition to the “Margaritaville” plates, the bill would also introduce plates such as “Universal Orlando Resort;” “Support General Aviation;” “Recycle Florida;” “Boating Capital of the World;” and “The Villages: May All Your Dreams Come True.”
