TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Great Wolf Lodge is coming to Florida for the first time, and on Thursday, the resort announced the opening date for the highly anticipated indoor water park.
The resort said its first location in the Sunshine State will be opening in Naples on Sept. 25, 2024.
The 92,000-square-foot indoor waterpark is filled with immersive and interactive activities for the whole family. Complete with 12 slides, three pools, and two interactive water play zones, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The water park, which will be heated to a comfortable 84 degrees all year round, also features “Otter Cave Waterworks,” a multi-level, interactive play structure with “leaking” water pipes, spray jets, and the Great Wolf Lodge’s 1,000-gallon tipping bucket.
Great Wolf Lodge announced the resort will also debut its new Breakaway Bay, an “exhilarating family raft adventure” that can hold up to five riders.
The South Florida resort will become Great Wolf Lodge’s 21st resort in North America. Visit the resort’s website for more information.
