Gov. Scott declares June 12 ‘Pulse Remembrance Day’ in Florida

Governor Rick Scott proclaimed June 12 as “Pulse Remembrance Day” in Florida.

The proclamation is in recognition of the 49 innocent lives lost in the attack on Pulse Nightclub on June 12, 2016.

Gov. Scott is asking all Floridians to pause for a moment of silence at 9 a.m.

All state flags are to be lowered at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday.
