The Florida Republican primary for governor is coming down to two candidates with vastly different approaches.

It’s a test to see what works best this election cycle: Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam’s traditional grassroots campaigning or U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis’ near daily Fox News appearances and President Donald Trump’s endorsement.

Putnam has been running for well more than a year, attending more than 100 barbecues and breakfasts and talking about Florida issues.

DeSantis jumped in the race in January and has appeared on Fox News more than 100 times.
