TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Port Orange police released body camera footage showing officers tasing and arresting a suspect driving an allegedly stolen vehicle last week.
In a Facebook video, the Port Orange Police Department and Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety are seen responding to a report of a vehicle stolen from a Daytona Beach hotel.
Officers found the vehicle and gave chase after it fled during a traffic stop.
After disabling the vehicle during the pursuit, officers chased the driver, identified as 39-year-old Stephen Browning from Sanford, who fled on foot, according to police.
The video shows officers tasing Browning and arresting him. Browning had an active warrant out for his arrest from Seminole County, according to police.
Browning is being held at the Volusia County Branch Jail on no bond.
