Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and if you’re a single person in Florida looking to find love, a new study says you’re in the right place.
WalletHub recently named Florida the best state in the country for single people.
The study compared the dating economics and dating opportunities in each state, as well as the number of restaurants, attractions, movie theaters, parks and bars.
Based on their findings, Florida topped all of the other states.
The Sunshine State ranked third overall in both the dating opportunities rank and the romance and fun rank, but was 34 when it came to dating economics. WalletHub’s data shows Florida is also in a four-way tie for first place when it comes to the number of restaurants per capita.
After Florida, the other top states for singles are California, Texas, New York and Pennsylvania. West Virginia, Arkansas, North Dakota, Wyoming and Kentucky were ranked the worst states.
