TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — An Amber Alert was issued for an 8-month-old Broward County girl on Wednesday.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said the child was last seen in the 4900th block of Southwest 148 Avenue in Davie on Tuesday. She was found safe Wednesday morning, according to FDLE.
Officials believed the infant was traveling to Orlando with her mother.
According to WTVJ, the girl was last seen being picked up by her father at Little Hands On Learning Academy in Davie. Police said they are in contact with the girl’s father.
Officials told the news station that both of Amelia’s parents recently had their parental rights terminated.
