HOLLY HILL, Fla. (WESH) – A bartender is accused of throwing a beer mug at a customer’s head after he complained about her being in the bathroom for too long.
Nicole Swindle, 28, was arrested after midnight Thursday at the Last Chance Bar on Nova Road in Holly Hill.
Police said the victim had been waiting 30 minutes to get a beer because the bartender, Swindle, was in the bathroom.
When she came out, the victim told Swindle that if she wasn’t a drug addict she wouldn’t take so long, authorities said.
Police said Swindle reacted by throwing the beer mug and hitting the victim in the head. The victim was left with a laceration.
Swindle was charged with aggravated battery. Police said they found pills on her, she faces a drug charge as well.
